Farmer Teresa is often found talking to the flowers, coaxing them to bloom and enjoying their beauty. Color, texture, shape, fragrance–on 46 North Farm, flowers are a joy to grow and even more joyful to share. Our seasonal bouquets, sweet pea bunches and cut fresh lavender are available mid June through mid October at local stores like the Astoria Co-op Grocery and Gathered, at pop-up events, and through a flower bouquet CSA. The farm also supplies edible flowers to local restaurants and caterers. Flowering plant starts are available during spring and summer; we focus on growing flowers that provide food for pollinators and attract beneficial insects to your garden, and which also happen to be beautiful, sometimes even edible for humans too.
